History
Moor Park is a destination rich in heritage, character and sporting history. Set in 300 acres of beautiful parkland just outside London, our two courses were designed by renowned architect Harry Colt and offer a wonderful blend of challenge, character and history.
At the heart of the estate stands a remarkable Grade I listed Mansion, whose history stretches back centuries and includes a fascinating connection to both British and American history.
Thomas Jefferson visited Moor Park in 1786, while during the Second World War, the Arnhem Room played an important role in the planning of Operation Market Garden — one of the war’s most significant Allied operations, later immortalised in the film A Bridge Too Far.
Today, historic architecture and world-class golf come together in truly distinctive surroundings, allowing guests to enjoy an exceptional golfing experience while becoming part of Moor Park’s remarkable story.
